Summer sings sweet melodies
To roses red and leafy trees.
She sprinkles golden sun-drenched beams
On my rainbow-colored dreams.
A lullaby of Summer brings
Lazy days on gossamer wings.
Dewdrops sparkle in the sun
When the morning's just begun.
A symphony of soothing rain
Falls upon my windowpane.
A robin serenades the day
And hops around the yard in play.
Summer songs my heart embraces,
Pleasant sound from forest places.
And on a wafting August breeze,
Summer sings sweet melodies.
